Netwave Announces Social Networking Initiative

In response to client requests, evolving trends in social networking and new technologies, Netwave Interactive Marketing has introduced a social networking initiative designed to complement its ongoing e-communications services which include:

    Netwave’s latest service offering is led by Deborah Smith, a social networking and ecommerce specialist.  Ms. Smith is the owner and developer of Parents With Nannies, Inc. a ten year old ecommerce network of Nanny focused websites,  NannyClassifieds.com , 4EverythingNanny.com  and NannyIsland.com
     
    She also launched and edits www.jerseybites.com and  www.twitter.com/jerseybites, a popular social network devoted to all things edible in New Jersey.  Ms. Smith consults with numerous consumer and professional services firms, helping them establish and maintain effective social networking programs.  She is the author of “Social Media Marketing and Blogging Hands-On Workshop” (Link to details)

    To some, Twitter and Facebook are mere fads.  But, bear in mind; they are modern day socialization facilitators—no different than the networking functions, cocktail parties and medieval campfires that came before them. I don’t know if they will ever become bona fide marketing tools.   But to dismiss them out of hand is akin to the 90’s declarations that company web sites weren’t important or that Amazon.com had a flawed business model.
