Websites Built With A Purpose

Websites

Why do people search the internet? The short answer, because they have a need. Whether it is for a product or service, they have a need and are looking for it to be fulfilled. When people search the internet, thousands if not millions of website results are returned with possible answers to their inquiry. Yet, after exploring several pages of the site, they are still asking “Can this company help, do they have what I want, or what exactly does this company do?”

Varying sources say website visitors stay between 5 and 8 seconds before leaving a website and moving on to the next search result if they are not “interested.” In 2012, people want answers. I need x, can you help? Why not build a website that says “We have x, contact us to find out more.” Generally speaking, new clients, prospects, or customers will contact you if they find what they are looking for and need clarification. Do not make your website visitors dig for the answers. List your products or services right up front. Your websites navigation needs to be clean, specific, with an easy to use flow. Your services or products must be listed clearly. Don’t overwhelm your visitor with an over abundant amount of text that answers every question possible. Even if they read that you offer exactly what they are looking for, they are still going to contact you.

Netwave Interactive Marketing has developed over 500 websites with answers in mind since 1998. When thinking of a business, a person should be able to associate it with something – or at least that’s what we hope happens. For instance, when you think of Nike, the image that you recall is a giant check. Similarly, the name McDonald’s immediately paints those large golden arches within your mind.

Nowadays, with social media booming, companies have an opportune chance of branding with little to no cost! Utilizing some of the many social networks available such as Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn, businesses now have numerous outlets to promote their company other than through their own website.
